Manufactured from open mesh glass reinforced plastic (GRP) grating in Sky Blue (RAL 5015), they provide a highly visible, low-maintenance alternative to traditional steel and concrete catch pit covers.

Network Rail approved for use on railway infrastructure, these GRP catch pit lids are non-conductive, making them a safe choice for installation near electrified lines. Their lightweight construction — significantly lighter than steel equivalents — makes trackside handling, installation and routine maintenance access faster and safer for rail engineers.
